The number of events are on the rise again, live shows now abound and thanks to summer, the nights are long and warm… which means the need for fresh & new electronic music is there ! This is why for our playlist of the day, we focus on electronic and downtempo music – two music genres that have the ability to calm people’s minds while making them want to dance along. Our playlist starts off with the empowering sounds of “Alma” by Maddrigal, which thanks to a long rise makes for the perfect introduction to our playlist. “Alma” is then followed by the downtempo variations of José Ciénaga, Alf Moon and Ivress, before getting more powerful yet more introspective with the works of Tommy Lunaire and Arthur Rey. We then end our journey on the sound experiments of Dominic Sambucco who reinvents electro-organic music with new recording techniques, and with Didacte’s latest release which opens the way to – we suppose – more energetic releases in the upcoming months from the French producer. Wishing you a good discovery session !
