NIIX is probably one of the most promising artist we’re keeping an eye on at the moment ! On top of being supported by Lapsley as part of a mentoring program in England, her first EP also allowed her to be spotted by one of the masters of electronica who is none other than Max Cooper.
In order both to keep the momentum going around her first EP named “I”, she has decided to showcase her artistic vision in a different way by letting five artists come up with their own versions of three of her tracks, namely “W8NG” (pronounce “Waiting”), “BBY” as well as “LST & FND”. In order to do this, NIIX has invited five artists of her entourage, namely Ranga, Qwirk, Madame Longree, DaiSu and Bryn, in order to express through their music their vision of NIIX’s tracks, which happen to sometimes be calm, sometimes more energetic than the original tracks !
