Happy New Year to you all ! We hope you had a great time celebrating both Christmas and New Year’s Eve, and that you have been able to rest, since it was much needed for everyone around here. In order to celebrate the beginning of this new year, we have created a relaxing playlist just for you, a placed filled with neoclassical and ambient gems. You’ll get to hear beautiful piano pieces, as well as ethereal and calming electronic ambient tracks – and we may or may not have featured some track written with unusual instruments in our playlist as well !

We’re starting off our first playlist of the year with our latest musical crush to date : that of Symo Reyn’s EP and his electronic tracks which happens to be centered around the sounds of a rare oriental zither called qanoûn. We then keep going with Jessica Roch’s latest track, bits of an imaginary soundtrack of an imaginary orchestra called Plinki Plonki, edited versions of Chloé’s tracks – whose album Endless Revisions was one of our personal favorites in 2017 – and more. We wish for this year to be calming for everyone, since 2021 was a very hectic year for us all. Wishing you a great music discovery session !

Tracklist :

  1. Silver River – Symo Reyn
  2. Medicine Prelude – Jessica Roch
  3. Luck & The Moon – Plinki Plonki
  4. Foreign Chaser – Fog Chaser
  5. All Numbers End – Nils Frahm
  6. Canción de Cuna – Xim Jim
  7. Sanctuary Sunset – 36
  8. Dusk – Casual Melancholia
  9. Studio Venezia – Chloé & Vassilena Serafimova
  10. Mercredi Soir – Memory Scale

More playlists are available on our Spotify profile. If you’ve enjoyed this playlist, we heavily recommend you to give “Ambient & Downtempo” a listen – we update it regularly with fresh finds !
