They are both creators of a melodic trip-hop and modern storytellers ; the young Californian duo may only have released four singles so far, but they are determined to take over the trip-hop scene, following the steps of bands like Radiohead and Massive Attack. Today we listen to &#8220;Moonlight&#8221;, a single that was released on March 24th and that has already casted a spell on tens of thousands of listeners. And we understand why : get ready to be absorbed by this track from start to finish !<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/STSrRjV4lbo\" width=\"560\" height=\"515\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\">&lt;span data-mce-type=&#8221;bookmark&#8221; style=&#8221;display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;&#8221; class=&#8221;mce_SELRES_start&#8221;&gt;\ufeff&lt;\/span&gt;<\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>&#8220;Under the moonlight, In my dreams, <\/em><br \/>\n<em>I flew the distance, where I\u2019ve been <\/em><br \/>\n<em>Beyond the highways, through the mountains, <\/em><br \/>\n<em>Came an angel, never seen&#8221;<\/em><br \/>\n\u2013 Moonlight &#8211; Skycabin<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">So far, the mysterious duo has presented itself as a band that is able to combine dark atmospheres with post-rock melodies and lyrics that are always evocative \u2013 we are thinking of their tracks &#8220;Shame&#8221; and &#8220;Secrets&#8221;, which heavily\u00a0reminded of groups like Archive or Radiohead. However, on their newest track &#8220;Moonlight&#8221;, it is with an ethereal ballad that they welcome us in another side of their musical world.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Moonlight&#8221; is quickly characterized by its scattered synth notes, its saturated electronic layers and a crystalline voice. Quickly the chills get to us as we listen to this hypnotic voice telling us a strange dream in which a macabre story and an almost divine apparition go hand in hand. &#8220;Moonlight&#8221; is a unique electro-trip-hop ballad that we enjoy listening to again and again; the songs that are able to get us hooked at each and every listening are very rare and &#8220;Moonlight&#8221; is one of them.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h3>Similar to Skycabin :\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.haumeamagazine.com\/en\/jealousy-causes-sega-bodega-and-lapsley-to-swing-the-ball-back-and-forth-in-the-music-video-for-make-u-stay\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jealousy causes Sega Bodega and L\u00e5psley to swing the ball back and forth in their music video for &#8220;Make U Stay&#8221;.<\/a><\/span><\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Besides, not only is &#8220;Moonlight&#8221; a dreamy song, but its music video is too ; while the music videos and visuals of the duo are so elaborate, we know so little about its members.
