The young electronic music producer Nascaa, whose pseudonym is inspired by an ancient pre-Columbian civilization, unveiled at the dawn of this new year a sweet track that makes you want to travel to new places. Called “Elephants”, it is heavily inspired by producers ranging from the excellent Boards of Canada to Four Tet ; “Elephants” is an invitation to escape that we gladly accept, especially since Spring is about to come. As the track slowly begins, the synthesizer notes settle, intertwine, before finding their place between the strikes of a kick that is as soft as it is rhythmic. Every sound that you hear is reflected in these saturated & mirrored landscapes ; their forever evolving tones create an unreal, surreal, psychedelic universe.
