We have decided to start off the month of February with a chilled-out alternative pop playlist that is – once again – largely centered around our own emotions. This time around, however, the tracks that are to be found in this tracklist unanimously refer to our own inner perceptions, to our own relationship with our bodies as well as to our perception of the world ; these universal themes, although timeless, seem to inspire lyricists more often lately.

In our tracklist, you’ll find the excellent French artist called Vendredi sur Mer and her latest single “Le Lac” (which means “The Lake” in French). After that, you’ll get to listen to the very first single from an emerging French pop duo named Parka & Velvet, as well as one of the bonus tracks from Joanna’s debut album “Sérotonine” ; Felyce’s most famous track, “Hope”, is also to be found in the tracklist – Felyce being an artist from the top 10 of the Prix Ricard Live Music 2022 that we had personally selected in our top 10. We hope you enjoy this deep dive into the soul’s realm !

Tracklist :

  1. Le Lac – Vendredi sur Mer
  2. Vers l’océan – Parka & Velvet
  3. Soleil cendres – Anna Majidson & David Numwani
