If you have been reading our reviews and been listening to our playlist for a while, you surely already know that we love to share electronic music that is more on the experimental side – Seleminga’s latest track that we have shared a few days earlier for example proves it. And there is one label that we are particularly fond of, particularly for the quality of its artistic direction and its ability to find the rare gems that are its artists, and that is piano and coffee records.
Combine the two, and you get Xim Jim, and more specifically her latest EP entitled “El Susurro es un Misterio”, which in English means “the whisper is a mystery”. Dark electronic variations intertwine with an almost inaudible voice that whispers sentences in Spanish : a hostile and arid universe that the EP depicts in great detail.
For those who are new or still discovering experimental music, we recommend listening to “Canción de Cuna” which is the chillest track of the EP, and for the more experienced listeners, we can only but recommend you to listen to the whole EP. Good discovery to you all !
